And Now A Few Words From Some Nimrods....

Surfing the news online, like I do nearly every day at work during my lunch break, I often seek news about things that are happening in the Middle East. That part of the world seems to have so much influence on the rest of the world that I find it important to keep up with current events over there. A day never goes by that I don’t find some little nugget of information that really pisses me off about that region. It’s a place filled with double-standards, lies, deception, and relentless bloodshed. Oh, and "holy" sand.

First, I’ll relay a comical little tidbit that comes to us from Afghanistan. It appears that insurgent forces have taken to attacking cell phone towers. Are cellular towers an affront to Islam? Well, indirectly they are. Apparently, the insurgents have "demanded" that the towers be shut down at night because there is a fear that NATO-led forces may be tracking Taliban cell-phone conversations, presumably to coordinate attacks on insurgent strongholds or positions. I find it comical that the insurgents first "demanded" that the towers be shut down at night. When the local telecoms didn’t comply, the towers got torched. Smart move insurgents; you don’t want to be tracked by your cell phones, so you attack the cellular system. Now how are you going to communicate with each other? I guess you’ll have to go back to messengers on camel-back, or perhaps rely on carrier pigeons. I don’t know how to break it to the poor disadvantaged insurgents, who we’re apparently treating unfairly in combat, but NATO-led forces are likely using very sophisticated methods of encrypted radio communication, and are not dependent upon cell phones. Even if the insurgents are "smart" enough to be using satellite phones, I’m guessing that the good guys can track those too. It’s moments like this where I begin to realize that our enemy is not as cunning as we may have been led to believe.

And now allow me to share another news tidbit from the distinguished dipshit Democratic Senator of Delaware, Mr. Joseph Biden. Senator Biden recently returned from a trip to the region (Afghanistan and/or Pakistan), and here is what he had to say. Biden called the border between Afghanistan and Pakistan a "….superhighway for extremists." He also said, "The main message I bring back is that Afghanistan is the forgotten war and Pakistan is the neglected frontier. Afghanistan is slipping toward failure because it has never been a priority, and it has to become one." Biden claims the Pakistani-Afghan border should be considered the central front in the war on terror. Well, Mr. Biden, thank you so much for illuminating the issue for me, you ignorant son-of-a-bitch. You have an amazing grasp of the obvious, and yet, you don’t. What, Mr. Biden, would you know about any of this anyway? You’re the first one to step up to the microphone and whine about pulling troops out of Iraq, which is another valuable front in the war on terror. Heck, in Iraq we don’t really have to look too far to find terrorists; they come to us over there. They’re everywhere. If we stick it out in Iraq, killing the bad guys can be like shooting fish in a barrel. And more fish keep jumping into the barrel from the outside every day. I know Iraq’s an ugly mess, but when you step back and think about it, it’s as good a place as any for a "showdown" with the people that want to kill us all. I’d rather that we face the enemy there than here on our own streets.

I agree with Mr. Biden that Pakistan "is the neglected frontier." I’ve been saying that for years now. I’m just wondering why it took this nimrod an expensive trip (at the taxpayers’ expense) to the region to come to that conclusion. I’ve come to that conclusion from the comfort of my own home just by reading the news reports from the area. Maybe Mr. Biden should learn how to read. He should also learn to grow some testicles, because that’s what it takes to defeat an enemy. You don’t turn and run away from what is probably the most important fight this nation will ever face. And it’s NOT just in Afghanistan and Pakistan. It’s also in Iraq, whether we like it or not.

And now a word from terrorism’s sponsor, Sheikh Osama Bin-Laden himself. Yes, Osama has again resurfaced with an audiotape recently. In the recording, he again brings up the "tragedy of tragedies" in the Islamic world: the reprinting of the Danish political cartoons that were so horribly offensive to Islam. With regard to those cartoons, he said, "This is the greater and more serious tragedy, and the reckoning for it will be more severe." A severe reckoning for a cartoon? Well, that sounds pretty menacing, not to mention pretty damned pathetic. I bet the reason that the cartoons are stirring up so much shit is because they hit the nail right on the head. They were spot on. The truth hurts, doesn’t it, Muslims? Sounds like you’re afraid to admit that you’re playing out exactly what the cartoons were attempting to illustrate. And re-printing those pictures again and again just keeps pushing that thorn deeper and deeper into your side, doesn’t it? If you want to rise above the cartoons, then prove to the world that you don’t need suicide bombings to share your pathetic excuse for a religion. Quit killing innocent people in the name of Islam, and maybe the cartoons will stop.

There are more lame little complaints from the mouth of Bin-Laden to share. He also said, "If there is no check on the freedom of your words, then let your hearts be open to the freedom of our actions." Allow me to translate that for you. It means, "If you say or do anything that is offensive to Islam, no matter how trivial, we will kill you for it." That’s an interesting concept. If we speak our minds, then we will be killed by Muslims. Yet it is "okay" for Muslims to insult, threaten, and cry, "Death to (whomever)!!!" Why is it that Muslims get to take to the streets and burn flags and scream out their opinions at the top of their lungs, but when we Westerners speak our minds in civilized fashion by drawing a political cartoon, we are the ones in the wrong? Muslims of the world, I’m tired of living by your sorry-ass double standard. You can speak your minds, but we can’t? You call yourselves "justified" when you randomly bomb a market full of innocent people, but we Americans are supposedly "monsters" when we use smart-bombs to target only specific hostile enemy positions with the goal of minimizing collateral damage to innocent bystanders? Muslims, you’re fools. You’re talking out both sides of your mouths. The cult of Islam is a farce and a travesty. I will never respect Islam because it respects nothing. Why should I respect Islam? Can anyone honestly give me a good answer to that question? I refuse to respect it out of fear and coercion. That’s called terrorism. I guess that means that Islam equals terrorism. Truth hurts, doesn’t it Muslims?

Here’s another priceless quote from the big bad guy with the turban. He said, "The laws of men which clash with the legislation of Allah the Most High are null and void, aren’t sacred and don’t matter to us." Okay, so what he’s really saying is that basic tenets of right and wrong don’t matter under any circumstances. If Allah’s will is that a follower annihilate a building full of innocent people, then basic rules of right and wrong (laws of men) are not sacred and do not matter. In Osama’s eyes, everyone’s a fair target, whether they’re an enemy of Islam or not. Islam has gotten so bad that it cannot even tolerate its own kind anymore. I don’t know about you, folks, but I fail to see how the world is supposed to embrace a religion where anyone can be killed at any time, and for any superfluous reason. One determined asshole’s twisted interpretation of what Allah wishes can mean death for countless innocent people. I’m not okay with that, and you shouldn’t be either.

Am I alone in these thoughts? If not, then I encourage you to speak out. And do so openly. We need the Muslim world to understand that we will not be intimidated. If we fail to speak up, then we’re merely handing over our lives to nimrods that have no concept of, nor respect for, the value of human life. What I’m hearing from the lips of Osama Bin-Laden, Islam’s primary spokesperson, is that human life is not sacred to Islam whatsoever. Do not be intimidated by Islamo-fascism, but rather stand up to it and reject it. Even be so bold as to insult it. It’s your only hope for survival. The alternative is capitulation and a life lived in fear, which is no life at all. If you do not speak out because you’re afraid, then your life is forfeit to them anyway. What’s it going to be?

A Noble Effort

I came across a news article this evening describing that President Bush has appointed a new special envoy to the Organization of Islamic Conference, a caucus of 57 Muslim nations. This envoy's job will be to explain the United States of America to the Muslim world.

I feel this is a noble endeavor, although I have sincere doubts that the Muslim world is going to believe any of it. The new post was given to a Muslim who originally hailed from Pakistan, a man by the name of Sada Cumber. I can't imagine anyone on this planet with a more daunting challenge than this man. Imagine being a Muslim, traveling to predominantly Muslim nations around the world, and trying to "sell" the notion that a secular, democratic way of life is okay in the eyes of Islam and that the intentions of the U.S.A. are often simply misunderstood. I would have to imagine that after the laughter died down, and the sense of betrayal to the tenets of Islam set in, that this man would be executed faster than you can say, "Allahu Akbar." I hope this guy will be traveling with a competent security detail. He's going to need it.

If there's one thing that seems to piss off a Muslim more than Americans, it's a Muslim who has sided with Americans. Just look at all those groups in Iraq that, after years of fighting alongside Al Qaeda and eventually realizing its twisted sense of right and wrong, have changed sides and decided to join with the coalition to fight against Al Qaeda. These groups are often referred to as "Awakening Councils", and have banded together with our troops to rout out Al Qaeda elements in Iraq. It's interesting to have watched how quickly these folks are targeted by Muslim extremists. I have to give Al Qaeda credit; they've done an effective job of eliminating their former comrades. While I commend the notion that these reborn Iraqis have "seen the light" and realized that the Al Qaeda way of life is essentially no life at all, it's sad to see how quickly Al Qaeda is wiping them out. I guess I would feel more pity for them if they hadn't been so quick to embrace Al Qaeda and the insurgency in the first place. It's too bad they didn't capitalize on the opportunity that the United States of America handed them on a silver platter when Saddam was deposed. Apparently, it was more important to celebrate their newfound freedom by looting and pillaging their own nation, and then by turning on their liberators. I guess Islamic extremism was just "cooler".

While I'm generally in favor of our troops staying in Iraq and shooting dead every sorry bastard that embraces extremism and murder, I'm beginning to think more and more that if the Democrats win the White House this year and yank our forces out of Iraq in short order, which they're bound to do, that it will be a poetic justice what will happen to the people of Iraq. They'd all be doomed to suffer and/or die. I'd rather see us stick it out and continue to kill every extremist prick in sight, which would be better for everyone in the long run, not to mention satisfying. But it appears that in a Democratic White House, it makes more sense to turn tail and run from our enemies. Maybe the Democrats can offer our enemies an olive branch of peace. Maybe we can send our new envoy to explain to our enemies that Islam is a religion of peace. I, personally, would like to offer our enemies a middle finger displayed with a lot of American zeal. And then I'd like to offer each a bullet (or twenty) to the brain.

Wars, in general, are won by attrition. You have to kill more of them than they kill of you. I know that's grossly oversimplified, but that's generally how it goes. Eventually one side or the other is wiped out, or surrenders. Since Islamic extremists aren't much into surrender, but rather suicide, it would appear that the only way to win this war is to wipe them out. That's going to take a lot of time, and a lot of bullets and bombs. I fear that if we leave Iraq and leave them to their own devices, the mayhem will only spread in all directions. That would be bad. At least if we keep cracking at Iraq, the mayhem might be contained there. Maybe someday after the smoke clears, the few people leftover might even begin to see the light and realize that a nation built on pure Islam is NOT all that it's cracked up to be. Maybe we can show them the "gem" that Afghanistan had become under the thumb of the Taliban just before we whipped their turban-wearing asses.

So let us get back to our new envoy, Mr. Cumber. This man will soon set forth to "sell" America to the Muslim world. I wholeheartedly agree that the West is horribly misunderstood in the Middle East (and beyond), and that it would be helpful if someone capable were able to communicate with Muslims and state our case so that we could reverse decades of anti-Western brainwashing. I sincerely doubt, however, that envoy Cumber will be able to get a word in edgewise over all the screaming and shouting from the Muslim masses. They're not predisposed to listening, you see. They're very good at screaming, cursing, threatening, and killing. Oh, and burning stuff. And bombing stuff, too. But listening? Not so much.

If Mr. Cumber is a true moderate Muslim, and truly practices this supposed "peaceful" version of Islam that I keep hearing is the TRUE form of Islam, then I suppose I'd be willing to give him the benefit of the doubt and bless him on his mission. I wish him only the best. I also hope that he and his family have prepared his last will and testament, because I suspect this man will be dead inside of two years at the hands of those with whom he's trying to communicate. I truly hope I'm wrong, and that this man can make a difference in the Muslim world (and there's nothing wrong with trying), but if his mission is perceived the same way as the mission of the Awakening Councils in Iraq, then it's safe to say that his mission is going to be cut horribly short.

Good luck, Mr. Cumber. You're going to need it. I recommend delivering your message from behind bullet-proof glass while wearing a Kevlar vest and helmet, just for good measure. I hope that doesn't send the wrong message….

Death To Islam Itself

Alright, I just read about some new protests stirring up overseas over those controversial cartoons that were printed in Denmark newspapers back in 2006. Remember those? The most controversial one depicted the "holy" prophet Mohammed with a turban on his head that looked like a bomb with a lit fuse. I thought it was brilliant statement, myself.

I guess in a show of solidarity, about twelve Danish newspapers RE-PRINTED those cartoons again to emphasize their right to freedom of speech. I commend these newspapers for doing so. It's a brave move, considering the firestorm this situation ignited back in 2006. Believe it or not, a number of violent protesters in other nations were killed because they couldn't behave themselves and protest in a civil fashion. Too bad, so sad. Those are the kinds of pathetic sub-humans that got what they deserved. These are the ones burning flags, effigies of George Bush, effigies of American citizens, etc. and constantly screaming, "Death to _________ !!!" (fill in the blank here with anyone who isn't a Muslim.) Had the cartoonists themselves been walking down the street, these Muslims are the kinds of violent assholes that would have beaten, stabbed, burned, or blown up the cartoonist with a bomb-laden turban with a lit fuse.

Take a look at the photo above. These fine members of the "tolerant and peaceful" religion of Islam are burning an American flag in Karachi, Pakistan. What were they protesting this time? Why, the re-printing of the cartoons in Danish newspapers, of course. Wait a minute, let's rewind for a second. Danish newspapers printed the cartoons, but these peaceful holy men are burning an American flag. Umm, am I missing something here? This is a shining example of what the "blessed" religion of Islam holds in store for you, America. This is what you have to look forward to after we've gotten so soft in the war on terror that we've invited these nice gentlemen into our backyards.

Look again at this photo. Are you seeing the blind hatred in their eyes? Do you see the glee with which they're burning our flag? Do you not recognize that if you, Mr. or Mrs. American, were in their midst at this moment, that it would have been your own flesh that would be burning on this dusty street? They'd be kicking you, spitting on you, stabbing you, beating you, and burning you just as readily as they burned this flag. And here's the interesting kicker: I'm willing to bet that these fine men are not members of Al Qaeda or any other terrorist organization. These nice, friendly gents are the supposed "moderate Muslims" that I keeping hearing rumors about. You know, the ones that don't believe in Islamic extremism. See how quick they are to burn effigies of Osama Bin-Laden, or banners representing Al Qaeda? See how quick they are at renouncing terrorism? Umm, for those who aren't reading into this enough, I'm being sarcastic. These boys are the moderates that, while not blowing up buildings with suicide vests themselves, support the cause just the same. This is Islam in its true form.

Americans, don't be so blind to the fact that we're in serious trouble here. A handful of guys in Denmark opted to speak their minds on something, and the result is that we Americans are in the crosshairs of Islam's hatred and intolerance. Are we willing to back down in the war on terror and come running home to hide out, only to let guys like these get an upper hand on us and threaten us? The guys you see in the photo will not be appeased. You can't reach out with an olive branch and offer to start a meaningful dialogue with these guys. They've made up their minds, people: they want you dead. They want me dead. They want everyone dead that isn't a Muslim. Isn't Islam a wonderful religion of peace and tolerance?.

For everyone who feels we shouldn't have our troops overseas stamping out this kind of murderous intent, I really don't understand where you're coming from. I'm all in favor of promoting peace around the world, don't get me wrong. But peace and freedom are never achieved with olive branches and kind words alone. Peace and freedom often must be defended with rifles, tanks, bombs, and brave individuals. I wish that weren't so, but you're a fool if you believe that we can diplomatically achieve peace with the men you see above. They won't have it. Not unless you are willing to capitulate and become one of them. Want to do that?

More Murderous Intent, Everywhere You Look

Perusing the news today on my lunch break, I read about today's bombing in New York City's Times Square. It appears that someone left a small bomb on the doorstep of the military recruiting facility right in the center of Times Square. It went off at around 3:45am, so fortunately no one was reportedly hurt in the incident. The building took some damage near its front door.

What's truly scary is that I was in Manhattan just last Saturday, and I literally walked within 30 feet of the EXACT spot where that bomb went off today. There's a Hard Rock Cafe just across the street, and my girlfriend and I had dinner there Saturday evening. It's eerie to think that if this terrorist asshole had decided to drop this bomb off on Saturday night, I might not be here today to write this. At a minimum, I'd have a face full of glass shards.

At this point, it's too soon to pin this on a Muslim extremist. Authorities are seeking out an individual who was seen riding a bicycle near there at approximately the time of the incident. I'm hoping somebody's security camera was pointing in the right direction just before this happened. My gut instinct is that this is home-grown terrorism, but I truly hope I'm wrong. The fact that it was a military recruiting office that was bombed screams "anti-war protester" to me, so I sadly expect that this jackass will be some left-wing liberal pansie who thought it'd be cool to "make a statement" against the war on terror. Yeah, some big statement. It's too bad the chicken-shit pussy didn't have the balls to try attacking a REAL military target like a base. It would have been comical to see how quickly he'd have been shot into minced meat by the MP's at the gate.

Whether this individual ends up being a tattooed, pot-smoking hippy wannabe or a true Islamic terrorist, it doesn't much matter. If this person was trying to attack a symbol of the U.S. military, then this person is, by default, essentially in favor of Islamic terrorism, so that makes him one based on his loyalty. His loyalty sure as hell isn't to THIS country.

I'm confused as to how most people in this country have, for whatever reason, inexplicably switched sides in the war on terror. Everyone seems to be against it. That tells me that the tragic fate of nearly 3,000 innocent Americans on 9/11/01 means nothing to most of America anymore. That's pretty pathetic. The argument to my statement above will probably be, "But Iraq didn't attack us on 9/11. There was no Al Qaeda in Iraq, nor did Iraq have any WMDs. Bush lied to us all." Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's real convenient to blame everything on Bush. He's become the world's scapegoat. But you're missing the bigger picture if you think Bush started this war. You need to revisit your history from the last 20 years or so.

First of all, our beef with Iraq didn't start on 9/11. Our beef with Iraq had been festering since 1990-1991. For those of you too young to remember (and I suspect most of you war protesters ARE too young to remember, so you don't know what your talking about), Iraq invaded the innocent nation of Kuwait back then, and left a trail of murder, bloodshed, and pillaging in its wake. A coalition of nations united to go and liberate Kuwait and kick the Iraqis the fuck out. And when that day came (and I was coincidentally watching CNN live when those first bombs fell), the coalition came, saw, and kicked the living shit of the Iraqi army. The Iraqis got what they deserved. For whatever political reasons, it was decided to leave Saddam Hussein in power. His military was, for the most part, decimated, so we didn't have much to fear for a number of years. When Iraq finally surrendered in the first Gulf War, there were certain agreements that Iraq signed and promised to meet. Some of those agreements were NEVER met, and that was the beef with Iraq. That's an oversimplified summary, but that's the gist of it.

When 9/11 happened, if I may remind you, there was a fear that Iraq (a known state sponsor of international terrorism), might be secretly aiding Al Qaeda and offering them weapon technology, whether it was bioweapons or nuclear weapons. There was some intelligence gathered that supported this notion. (That intelligence, we later learned, was gleaned from a Muslim who had a beef with Iraq, and so in true Muslim fashion, he lied to us so that we'd have reason to attack.) This faulty intelligence, coupled with Iraq's blatant disregard for the U.N. agreements they signed 12 years earlier, was what our incursion into Iraq was based on. It should be noted that just because we never found weapons of mass destruction (WMDs) in Iraq, doesn't mean that Saddam never had them. He was KNOWN to have had them prior to, and during, the first Gulf War. He USED bioweapons on his own people -- those incidents are well documented. And U.S. soldiers who fought in the first Gulf war have all sorts of strange diseases that are attributable to chemical or biological weapons that were used by Iraq back then. We had every reason to believe that he would have still had them. The fact that they were never found is likely because the U.N. spent so much time debating whether Iraq should be attacked, that Saddam had ALL THE TIME IN THE WORLD to conveniently rid himself of all his bioweapons (or nukes, if he had those too). Saddam knew we were eventually going to invade, and he knew his military would surely lose, so the only revenge he could exact was to make us look like fools. It makes perfect sense that he'd have gotten rid of any incriminating evidence just to save face and make us look like we invaded for no good reason.

Sadly, America (and the rest of the world) has fallen for Saddam's trick. It worked. I never thought I'd see the day that American citizens would side with Saddam Hussein and say with straight faces that we should NOT have deposed him. He was a sick fuck, people, and his intentions could never be trusted because he was a madman. Not knowing what weapons he did or didn't have, I feel we made the right choice. I just wish we'd have been prepared for the Iraqi people to turn on us. We mistakenly expected they'd embrace freedom from Saddam and embrace Western democracy, but instead age-old tribal rivalries took over. That, followed by sectarian violence between Sunni and Shia factions, has led Iraq into a horrible spiral of violence. In the midst of all that mayhem, Al Qaeda siezed the opportunity to slip in and now we're fighting on multiple fronts. If our military's leadership had done a better job of preparing for the aftermath of the initial war we might have been in better shape today to wrap things up over there. Sadly, that didn't happen. Now with the surge, the military is doing what it should have done back 2003. So far, they're making progress. I have nothing but respect for our armed forces for what they've accomplished, and more importantly, for all they've sacrificed.

Another common thing I often hear from Iraq war protesters is that we should have finished our work in Afghanistan first. Umm, I hate to tell you people this, but we had pretty much wiped out or driven out all of the Taliban in Afghanistan within the first year after 9/11/01. The ones we didn't kill scampered across the border into Pakistan to hide out. For the first few years after 9/11, there were only small skirmishes to deal with in Afghanistan. The rise in violence and attacks in Afghanistan in the last few years is attributable to the fact that the surviving Taliban took a few years to regroup, reform, and retrain their fighters in Pakistan. Plus, newer and younger generations of Muslim boys have now joined the cause, helping to boost their numbers back to a level where they can launch somewhat more effective attacks. I'm happy to see that coalition forces are doing a good job of responding with strong counter-attacks. But there's still a long road ahead. Our biggest problem now lies with Pakistan. That's the powder keg that's waiting to explode next. Mark my words on that.

Okay, so now that you've had a history lesson, I hope it's apparent that while we may have invaded Iraq based on some bad intelligence, there were other long-festering issues that we were trying to resolve too. More importantly, all of you Iraq war protesters out there should look at the situation in Iraq today as an opportunity, not a disaster. How in the world could I say that? Here's what I think....

Whether there was ever Al Qaeda in Iraq before our invasion or not, the fact of the matter is that our presence there has drawn Al Qaeda to us in Iraq now. Instead of having to hunt them down the world over, we've established a known theatre of battle where we KNOW that Al Qaeda exists. It's unfortunate for the Iraqi people that the battleground is in their turf, but frankly I don't have any sympathy for the Iraqi people anyway. They turned on us immediately after we deposed Saddam, so I say again that they got what they deserved. We gave them the gift of liberty and democracy on a silver platter when we removed Saddam, and instead of embracing it, they turned on us and then on each other. The Iraqi people should all be ashamed of themselves. But what can you say? They're mostly Muslims. And from all I've seen, nothing good ever seems to come from Islam.

A Palestinian terrorist today barged into a seminary for rabbis in Jerusalem, and opened fire on students there. Eight innocent people are dead as a result. Gee, I wonder if he was a Muslim too....

Tell me, somebody, why I'm supposed to embrace Islam as a religion of peace and tolerance? I'm just not seeing it.

This is your proud infidel, signing off....

Islamic Imposition, Again

Well, friends, I came across an article today that describes an interesting situation at one of this nation's supposedly greatest educational institutions: Harvard University. It would appear that one of the smaller campus co-ed gymnasiums has instituted a policy of including a few hours of "women-only" workout time specifically to accommodate Muslim women. More specifically, it was a huge group of exactly SIX Muslim women.

Now, we all know that the cult we call Islam forbids women to be seen in public by men. Above and beyond that, in most cases they are not allowed to show flesh in any way, shape, or form. This is why they are often seen in head dress, and covered as much as possible, even here in the states where there is no Sharia law. Apparently, these six Muslim women went to bat to get some time set aside so that they could go and work out in the co-ed gym without having to be in the presence of men. Sadly, the university complied, and has granted about six hours out of seventy each week specifically for these women to be able to have their way.

From what I've read, the policy is not very popular on campus. The school newspaper, known as the Harvard Crimson, has published at least two op-ed pieces in which student writers have expressed their discontent with the policy. I read these articles online myself, and noted with great satisfaction that nearly every comment posted by people in the "comments" sections that followed the articles was also a comment against the policy. I was pleased to see such a unified front lining up against this blatant infringement on our way of life, albeit a small one.

The gym was put in place to be available to everybody, regardless of age, race, sex, religion, or creed. And this is as it should be. And here we are now, where one particular little minority group of individuals has succeeded in spitting in the face of the values that we hold dear. I put forth that if these six Muslim women are so uncomfortable working out in the presence of men, or more importantly, if their pathetic excuse of a religion forbids it, then they ought not to go to this gym. Let them exercise in the privacy of their own home/dorm/room, or find one of the countless women-only gyms that are available just about everywhere you turn.

I was deeply saddened to see that such a distinguished organization as Harvard would capitulate to such an inappropriate request. Perhaps they feared what would happen if they refused it, and that's even more saddening. Once again, Islamic fascism and tyranny has bullied one of the most respected institutions in this nation. Now, I doubt that the university feared suicide-bombing retaliation by these six women, but the potentially negative press that Harvard would have faced in the light of "offending" Islam apparently got the better of them. So they gave in.
This is another shining example of political correctness showing its horns as one of the worst evils we've let ourselves embrace.

I for one am not afraid to speak out against this kind of offensive imposition by Islam. I intend to spout off against Islam every chance I get, because I see nothing good coming from it. For many years, it was merely a nuisance that most of us could tolerate. We'd see some Palestinian suicide bombing on the news, and say, "How terrible." Now it's very much "in your face", and it's not there just to be rude. Islam is imposing itself on the entire world, wherever it can. And it doesn't do so with the subtle suggestion of, "Hey, give our religion a try." Rather, it's more of an enforcement that says, "Join us or die, infidel."

Now, it's true that no threats were made by these six Muslim students against the university. But the sad thing is that the threat was still nevertheless implied, when you think about it. The girls don't HAVE to make any threats. They have billions of pissed off, angry, and murderous fellow Muslims around the world to back up their views and their wishes. Who wants to stand up against that? Apparently, Harvard does not.

I would have expected more from Harvard University. Shame on them for pandering to these six Muslim female students. It won't be long before there will be mandatory prayer mats in every campus facility, no classes during the month of Ramadan, and countless other Islamic impositions. It starts with the small things like gymnasium rights, and eventually grows to include much more. Harvard should have stood their ground here and now, rather than get sucked into a spiral of capitulation.

You can call me Islamophobic if you want, if you think that's what I'm about. The thing is, I don't fear Islam so much as I simply fucking despise it and resent it. Who the hell are Muslims to tell me how to live my life? I never told them how to live theirs. I only expected them to respect my way of life, if they expect me to respect theirs. Sadly, they don't. They can take their turbans, their sandals, and their Korans, and shove them up their sorry Islamic asses. I've got a right to be on this planet as much as they do. Frankly, I think I have MORE of a right to be here, because I'm not condoning the suicide bombing of innocent people, Israeli or otherwise. Since they DO condone that stuff, it would seem to me that they've forfeited their right to co-exist with me. I'm not interested in killing anyone, but if someone wants me dead for no good reason, then I can't sit by idly and let them just kill me. As I've said before, I'd have no problem living side by side with their faith if it wasn't so dead set on making me dead. Unfortunately, that's not how it is. Infidels must be eliminated in Islam, and I'm proud to announce that I am, and always will be, an infidel. In fact, I think I'm going to go get a T-shirt made up that simply says "INFIDEL" on the front in huge bold letters. I'd wear it proudly. And I'd make sure to include a waving American flag alongside it, because Muslims hate nothing more than Old Glory waving around; they always have this overwhelming desire to burn it. Let them just try to burn the flag I'm wearing on my chest and see what happens.

It should be apparent to you by now that I embrace the war on terror, and I do so because I perceive it as a defensive war to protect our way of life. A lifestyle that is about freedom and liberty; you know, things that Islam does not allow. Islamic extremists that embrace murder to further their cult, in my eyes, have forfeited their right to live. Therefore, let the war rage on. If they want me dead, I want them dead first. If there is such a thing as a peaceful, moderate Muslim, I'd be happy to try and co-exist with him/her. It's my opinion that such moderates are few and far between, and even those claiming to be moderate tend to embrace the causes that the extremists pursue. That makes them just about as bad. I give little quarter to Muslims of any kind anymore. I'd love to see the moderates step up and discredit, disavow, or insult their extremist brethren, but the fact that they do not do so speaks volumes. I've seen a select few moderate Muslims speak up on shows like Glenn Beck, and I commend them for that. It's a shame there isn't more of that happening. The fact that it isn't happening is what leads me to believe that most share the same sentiments as their brazen brethren. Sure that may be naive of me, but I'm more of a "show me" kind of person. And I haven't been shown anything that leads me to believe that anything good will ever come of Islam.

I'd like to take this opportunity to thumb my nose at Harvard University for not having the foresight to realize all of the implications that their poor decision will have on our way of life. For those being educated there, you have my sincerest condolences for being done a huge disservice. I would hope that wisdom would prevail soon, and that this debacle of a campus policy gets the treatment it deserves: complete and utter rejection.

Stand up and speak out, people, before it's too late and you're all forced to pray five times a day in Arabic or Persian. Something wicked this way comes....

Why I Despise Muslims (Part 1)

I would like to begin my vitriolic diatribe with the opening shot across the bow: I absolutely, positively, without apprehension, remorse, or regret, despise Muslims.

Why do I despise Muslims so much? Well, because they SUCK, for starters. But that's the terse, campy version. Allow me to expand on that. I've often found myself saying that there's no such thing as a good Muslim. The religion itself is more of a hard-core cult than a benevolent faith, when you observe those who practice it. It's blind devotion coupled with blind hatred and intolerance. And don't forget to throw in murderous intentions while you're at it.

I would truly like to be able to sit here and believe all those kindly, intellectual folks that would counter my slanderous words above when they'd argue that Islam is a religion of peace and tolerance, and that it's been hijacked by extremist elements. I truly wish that were so. But those kindly intellectuals seem to be oblivious to what really goes on in the world around them, even amongst presumably "good" Muslims.

These bleeding-heart granola-munchers are the first people to insist that anti-American sentiment around the world is fomented by the effects of our own government policies. I reject that notion. I will not sit here and tell anyone that our government is infallible or perfect, but at the same time I do believe that much of what our government tries to do in the world, and for the world, has good intent behind it. No other single nation offers so much to those in need around the globe than our own U.S. of A. I challenge anyone to prove otherwise. I put forth that the fact that our foreign aid gets misallocated and abused by those receiving it is the fault of corrupt, self-serving governments elsewhere, not our own. Our government has plenty corruption of its own, but it pales in comparison to what happens elsewhere in the world. But I digress.

So back to Islam and its decidedly anti-Western notions. What is it about Islam that slants its followers to hate the Western way of life? Why is it always "death to America" everywhere you turn? It's not our government policies, I can assure you; those may sometimes not help, certainly, but it's really something more elementary. It's as simple as this, people: Muslims are as intolerant a bunch as you'll ever meet. And worse.

Children can't fly kites in Islam. It's a sin. Women can't be seen in public alone (without escort). It's a sin. Women often aren't allowed jobs, and when a crime like rape is committed against a woman, SHE is held responsible and is severely punished. If a woman requires a medical procedure or surgery, it cannot happen unless her husband allows it. Since most Muslim women are considered powerless and subservient in the Islamic culture, and Muslim men are pretty much self-centric assholes, it's pretty obvious how unlikely a Muslim woman is to ever have her medical needs met.

And back to the topic of children in Islamic culture. In the Palestinian territories, when Palestinians have stopped blowing everything up long enough to actually think about doing something else, they produce cartoons for their children that extol the virtues of suicide-bombing Israelis. I've seen the cartoons, people -- they exist. While our kids are laughing at Sponge-Bob Squarepants, theirs are learning that it's right to kill innocent people. And this is a religion of peace and tolerance?

It should be pretty obvious to you by now that I'm a hater. I admit it. I won't mince words here. I have nothing nice to say about Islam. Some of you bleeding-heart types may put forth, "If you have nothing nice to say, then don't say anything at all." Well, we didn't say (or do) anything at all for many years, folks, and in return we got September 11th, 2001. Tragedies such as that one are the result of silence and inaction. I, for one, intend to spout off until I've pissed somebody off. Maybe I'll work on pissing a LOT of people off, if that's what it will take to wake them up.

There's a shit-storm of ugliness coming our way, folks, and it's all coming from the Middle East. I'm not fear-mongering here, either. All you have to do is wake up and read the news. Don't watch Entertainment Tonight, either, for your news headlines. Put down your Britney Spears tabloids long enough to read what's happening in the world around you. And not just here, but everywhere. The war this nation is fighting right now isn't just about oil, or WMDs that never turned up, or about supposedly false pretenses. This war is about our very survival, and those of you who don't support what we're fighting for are not seeing the realities of the world around you. You've closed your eyes to the facts on the ground in the Middle East (and elsewhere).

Islam appears to exist for one sole purpose: to perpetuate itself at any and all costs. I, for one, wish I could live in a nice happy world where all religions and cultures could co-exist harmoniously. The problem is that Islam does not allow for that. Anyone who's not a Muslim is an infidel, and that label carries with it a horrible stigma in Islamic culture. An infidel is not just "someone other than a Muslim". An infidel is one that shuns the tenets of Islam, and is hence showing "infidelity" towards Allah. And that is obviously immensely offensive to a Muslim. In most cases, such an offense warrants -- you guessed it -- death.

I have a problem with that. If someone refuses to allow me to co-exist with them simply because some book of bullshit called the Koran says I should die if I don't accept Allah in my life, then in my eyes, that extremist asshole has given up THEIR right to exist. Does that make me no better than the Muslim fundamentalist to feel that way? Well, I think I have a valid argument here, and it's an age-old one: he started it. I was perfectly willing to co-exist with him, but he insists on trying to kill me "just because". If he insists on trying to kill me, and I object to that, then my only option is to kill him first. I don't want to, but if it's between me (and countless others) getting blown to bits, or him getting shot through the fucking skull, then guess which option I'm voting for? Give me the sniper rifle. I'd be happy to remove his head from his smelly unbathed torso. One less turban-wearing asshole in the world. Next?

It would be great if there were some way to sit down and talk common sense with these folks we call Muslims. I'd love nothing more than to open a dialogue with Islamic fundamentalists and say, "How can we work this out?" The problem is that they will never accept us as we are. I'd be happy to accept them if they didn't want to execute everyone, but that's not the case. Infidels must be wiped out. Just ask any Muslim. Therefore, it should be apparent that any attempt at an open dialogue with Muslims is a complete waste of time. It's simply never going to happen, because their culture forbids anything other than Islam. Those who don't embrace Islam will die. It's their way of life, and it has been for centuries. Even so-called "moderate" Muslims still embrace the cause of those who martyr themselves for their faith/cult. Death to Israel…death to America…it's all you ever hear, moderate or otherwise. If the moderates are so fucking moderate, then why aren't they speaking up for their faith? Why don't they ever try to reclaim their "hijacked" religion? It's very simple: they don't truly believe that it's been hijacked at all. And the miniscule minority that supposedly DO believe that are the ones that quickly get executed by their "peace-loving, tolerant Muslim brethren" who don't share their ideals.

What I'm getting at, people, is that the world has no place for Islam. I wish it were the beautiful, peaceful, tolerant religion that it claims to be. But it's a myth. Islam is the most intolerant of all modern faiths, and it seeks to bring a miserable end to those who won't join it. I have decided, after much observation of its ways, that I will not become a Muslim. That means I'm now on the shit list of every Muslim in the world, and I've got a mark on my head. If you feel the way that I do and refuse to become a Muslim, then you've got a mark on your head too.

So tell me, fellow infidel, what are you gonna do about it?
